N560 gunpowder is commonly used in big game and long-range cartridges, especially for larger caliber rifles. It is especially used for long-distance hunting with reasonable calibers and bullets.

This powder is specially indicated to provide the adequate power to large calibers and mag num 7mm Mag um, 7mm Weatherby Mag num. It is also a very good option to manually load the caliber 338 Lapua Mag num when you want to make cartridges of 250 grams or less.

This model is of the tubular type with a fairly large grain with dimensions of 1.4mm in length and 1.2mm in diameter. The burn rate is slow, similar to the N100 series, to which nitroglycerin has been added for better energy content.

The N500 series is primarily used in rifle cartridges where a little extra power is needed to achieve higher charge densities and higher speeds within the limits of maximum pressure. Therefore, a better speed is obtained, but with the same pressure as with the N165.
